Andrea Jarrell is a brand and messaging strategist for mission-driven organizations of all sizes from change-making startups and nonprofits to global B-Corps to colleges and university systems. She is a capacity builder of individuals, teams, and organizations.

Andrea specializes in clarifying an organization’s essential call to action and inspiring the right people to act. She has helped over 100 institutions including Carnegie Mellon University, The Central Park Conservancy, Columbia University, MIT Libraries, The Music Center of Los Angeles County, The Natural History Museums of LA County, The New York Public Library, New York University, The Old Globe Theatre, Oregon State University, the Social Innovation + Change Initiative at Harvard Kennedy School, Southern Environmental Law Center, Stanford University, Swarthmore College, United States Naval Academy, Walker Art Center, Wellesley College, Wesleyan University, The Wharton School, Williams College, and Yale University among other clients.

Andrea Jarrell earned her B.A. from Scripps College and an M.F.A. in Writing and Literature from Bennington College. A VCCA Fellow and graduate of Seth Godin’s altMBA, she has contributed to several books on brand strategy and fundraising communications. A Los Angeles native, she now lives in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
